And while these oh-so-now pieces are not ideal for long term wardrobe investment, it’s their accessibility and affordability – coupled with an inherent cool-factor – that makes them so appealing.

Along with spending time with fashion designer Christian Audigier, the “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star and his lady enjoyed cruises, sightseeing trips and a lot of shopping at Gucci!

Meanwhile, contrary to recent reports, it has been denied that Jon has already set up to start a clothing line with Audigier – who has made quite the name for himself with his Ed Hardy line.

“Christian is absolutely not starting a kids’ clothing line with Jon,” a rep for Audigier told Us magazine. “As of right now, there is no clothing line in the works between them at all.”

In a city where made in P.R.C. with an attitude problem is labeled as “fashion” and a loosely covered bite off a well established Parisian couture house is blindly accepted; Ann Zed has defied (if not defiled) the norm to show that all is not lost with Melbourne’s fashion scene. The Melbourne school of fashion graduate chose Jim Morrison as her inspiration for her debut collection at Eve night club last week. Although not as literal as other collections, the spirit of rock and punk was still prevalent.

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” star was spotted in her front lawn – serving up a picnic meal to the kids as she brought them all out drinks followed by lunch.

Meanwhile, Kate’s estranged hubby Jon Gosselin has been enjoying himself on a trip to St Tropez over the weekend.

The reality show dad was once again alongside fashion designer Christian Audigier – as the two ventured out on Sunday evening for a taste of the French Riviera nightlife.

Less than a month after Kate Gosselin filed for divorce, the 32-year-old father of eight went to France with a new woman.

He and 22-year-old Hailey Glassman (the daughter of the doctor who performed Kate’s tummy tuck) were spotted holding hands in St. Tropez in the French Riviera on Saturday.

Another stop for the couple during their trip to France?

Jon, an Ed Hardy fan, and Glassman went for a ride on the yacht of fashion designer — and Ed Hardy exec — Christian Audigier.

Earlier today (July 8), the “In My Arms” singer was among hundreds of people that gathered to watch fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier present his 2009/2010 winter collection inspired by 1930s and 1940s movie stars.

Ms Minogue looked stunning as she sat front row at the Haute Couture show while “The Wrestler” actor, Mickey Rourke, was closeby rocking his own style and looking rather pleased with the old Hollywood glamour on the runway.

Kylie was there seeking inspiration for costumes for her first North American concert dates in October (Gaultier and Dolce & Gabbana will share the wardrobe credits).
